NAKED MAN IS NOW COMPLETE
His deterioration represents society's willingness to dehydrate an individual's body and mind to nothing more than a shriveled-up shell. When society has collectively decided that it has gotten it's worth out of Naked Man, he is spat out and abandoned to the desert to fend for himself. Left to his own device he will die. Society does not have to pick up the tab for being responsible for it's treatment of him. There is no one person to blame. It is a collective, like a beehive or ant colony. Except we have no Queen. We have an authority that regulates every aspect of our lives. And as a member of that hive, we are subjected to it's tyranny and brutality without question and impedance.
